3D Contact Lenses

Scientists are engaged in making of the 3D panorama lens with the help of military funding to enhance human’s normal vision with megapixels 3D panoramic images. These 3D contact lenses can be implanted within the eyes to get the solution of wearing and taken off regularly of contact lenses.

Some of the technologies have been shown in the past years which were also not possible like contact lenses – enabled eyewear for mobile devices, portable game devices and media players that delivers panoramic high resolution experiences for entertainment and planned augmented reality applications. The new system consists of advanced contact lenses are working to make a lightweight eye wear.

As we all know that our eyes have the normal ability to see and focus any objects around us. These new 3D contact lenses can help our eyes to focus all the small and as well as large objects very well with the help of optics that focus images displayed on the light sensing retina in the back of the eye. These contact lenses could effectively generate displays with a screen size of 240 inches from a distance of 10 feet. The scientist also said that by projecting slightly different pictures to the eyes can be able to generate 3D and fully HD panoramic images.

The makers of 3D contact lenses company Innovega has also said that this technology will also be helpful when it comes to potential military applications and could be the ultimate computer interface for the troops to look through their obstacles which is fully transparent and fully hands free or think of the soldiers who need a display who have a gun and there is nothing which can be able to stop or obstruct their safety vision and mobility.
